Diego’s Philosophy
The main idea of Diego De Nicola – founder of Athletic Socrates – was to combine the philosophical approach to a virtuous life with the hard-facts and strategies of everyday life.
Convinced that the unexamined life is not worth living, he set out on a journey into the deepest chambers of our mind and into the farthest fields of human performance, including many self-experiments. The result is what he calls High-Performance Philosophy; making philosophy practical, understandable, applicable and massively useful in everyday life.
Diego’s life as a High-Performance-Philosopher
Our time is limited, but not pre-defined. Our possibilities are countless, but not infinite. What we make of them is our choice, our responsibility.
It’s in this way, that I see myself as a practical philosopher. I question everything, not out of skepticism but out of curiosity. I analyze constantly, not to eliminate doubts but to gain insights. I experiment, not to reject the existing, but to discover something new. I refuse to accept the status-quo, not out of anarchy but out of the natural drive towards a continuous evolution. Come with me on this exciting path.
